Whether it's a last-minute event, a wardrobe emergency, or simply a busy schedule, we understand that sometimes you need your clothes altered today — not next week. Our Same-Day Alteration Service is designed to offer high-quality tailoring and garment repair with speed and precision, without compromising on craftsmanship.
What to Expect
  1. Walk-in or Appointment
    We recommend booking ahead, but we welcome walk-ins if capacity allows.
  2. On-the-Spot Evaluation
    A professional fitter will assess your garment and advise whether the work is feasible the same day based on complexity and current queue.
  3. Tailoring
    Once approved, your garment will be passed directly to our in-house tailor for priority processing.
  4. Collection
    Most approved jobs are ready within a few hours — some within 1–2 hours depending on the type of work.
What Can Be Altered the Same Day?

While not all alterations can be completed in one day, here are the most common services we successfully offer with same-day turnaround:

Basic Fit Adjustments
  • Shortening trousers, jeans, dresses or skirts
  • Taking in or letting out side seams on tops, shirts or dresses
  • Adjusting waistband or darts for a better fit
  • Jacket or coat sleeve shortening (plain cuff styles)
 
Quick Repairs
  • Replacing buttons, hooks or zippers
  • Fixing ripped seams, loose hems or undone stitching
  • Small patch repairs or reinforcement of worn areas
 
Emergency Refinements
  • Short-notice hem adjustments for events or interviews
  • Last-minute fitting tweaks before travel or special occasions
  • Urgent tailoring due to unexpected sizing issues after purchase
What Cannot Be Done Same Day:
Some garments require more time and care due to complexity, fabric type, or detailing.
Same day turnaround is not guaranteed for:
  • Bridal or evening wear
  • Leather, fur, or suede garments
  • Intricate beadwork or heavy embellishments
  • Full re-sizing or structural changes
  • Multi-layered or lined garments with complex seams
If same-day is not possible, we’ll offer the next available priority option.
